Please season the molcajete, before using it, you need to season it by grinding rice or dry corn into the inside of the bowl. Spend as much time as you can grinding the grain or corn into the stone. Then, rinse the stone with very hot water and start another seasoning session. You should season the stone at least three before you use the molcajete to cook.
