My second concern was that the minimum temperature of the Magical Butter Machine was 130°f.
I have been telling students forever to keep the temperature around 110-120°f.. That is what my teachers and mentors have always said.
I then started thinking about it.
Making tea is universally accepted as the best way to extract herbal properties.
Flowers and leaves are steeped for 10 minutes or more.
Roots, barks, seeds, and such are simmered for 10 minutes or more.
The 130°f temperature for making herbal remedies with roots, barks, and seeds was no problem.
Many of my herbal remedies are for using leaves and flowers.
When making an herbal tea with flowers and leaves you first boil water, remove it from the heat source and pour the water over the herbs.
What temperature is the water at that point?
Around 180°. 10 minutes later? 160°f. 10 minutes after that? Around 150°.
